If your window is difficult to slide, this is usually caused by debris buildup or minor alignment issues.
Before scheduling service, please try the following:
Step 1: Clean the Track
• Vacuum the bottom track
• Wipe with a damp cloth
• Remove sand, dust, or pet hair
Step 2: Apply Silicone Spray
• Use silicone spray only
• Do NOT use WD-40
• Apply lightly and wipe excess
Step 3: Test the Window
Slide the window several times.
If the window is still difficult to operate, please submit:
• 1 photo of the track
• 1 short video of the window sliding
• Room location
• Approximate install year
If the window cannot close or secure, please note that in your ticket.
